Privacy and data retention
1. Controller
The controller for Slot Art Generator is {{LEGAL_ENTITY}}, registered at {{LEGAL_ADDRESS}}, company number {{COMPANY_NUMBER}}. Privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
2. Data we process
| Category | Examples | Why it is used |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Email address, name, authentication and session records | To sign you in, secure the account and associate private projects with their owner |
| Purchases | Polar order identifiers, purchased products, payment status, refunds and wallet transactions | To grant one-time game entitlements and redraw credits, prevent duplicate grants and keep purchase records |
| Briefs | Game name, theme, symbol ideas, palette and asset-specific redraw notes | To resolve the cast, generate requested art, resume a project and replace an asset |
| Generated project files | Source images, processed PNGs, derived layers, previews, status and manifest data | To process, display, redraw and deliver the set |
Do not put unnecessary personal data into a theme, symbol idea or redraw note. Those fields are instructions for the image pipeline and may be included in provider requests.
3. How the data is used
Account data is used to authenticate you and keep each project private to its owner. Brief and image data is used to plan and run generation, resume interrupted work, display finished assets, apply redraw directions and build downloads. Purchase data is used to confirm paid orders, provision the wallet, record consumption and process refunds.
The service does not use a hidden subject catalogue to complete your theme. Subjects are resolved from the words you submit, which means the content of the brief directly controls what the image provider receives. For guidance on keeping the brief specific without including unnecessary data, see writing a slot art brief.
4. Processors and recipients
- Polar
- Polar acts as merchant of record and processes checkout, order, tax and refund information. Slot Art Generator receives the order details needed to identify the purchased offer and credit the account wallet.
- fal.ai
- fal.ai is the image provider. It receives the prompts, reference images and technical generation settings required to produce the requested assets.
- Authentication and database infrastructure
- Account, session, project ownership, billing-order and wallet records are stored in the service's authentication and database systems so private projects and balances can be maintained.
Data may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a lawful business transfer, subject to applicable safeguards.
5. Retention
Hosted project files are deleted 30 days after project creation. This includes the brief and generated files needed to host that project. Download the package before the deadline. A small, hand-picked public gallery may retain selected public sets outside the private-project purge.
Account, session, purchase, refund and wallet-transaction records are retained for as long as needed to operate the account, prevent duplicate credit grants, handle disputes and meet financial or legal recordkeeping duties. Those records do not follow the 30-day project-file window.
6. Legal grounds
Data needed to create an account, fulfill a purchase, generate a project, deliver files and process a redraw is handled to perform the service requested. Security, fraud prevention, service integrity and recordkeeping may be handled for legitimate interests or legal obligations, depending on the applicable law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data, and to receive portable data. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority. Some records cannot be deleted immediately when they must be retained for payment, fraud-prevention, dispute or legal-recordkeeping purposes.
Send a request from the account email address through the contact page. Identity may need to be verified before account data is disclosed or changed.
8. Security and changes
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to keep accounts, private projects and purchase records protected. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
This policy may change when the service, processors or legal requirements change. The updated date in the metadata records the current version. Purchase and refund terms are covered separately in the refund policy.
Use of the service is also governed by the terms of service.
